Welcome to a new school year and rank in Cub Scout Pack 673 at St. Cecilia Catholic Community! We have a lot of fun and exciting events and activities planned for this year. We have an excellent group of adult volunteers on the Pack Committee that are looking forward to leading your son in scout activities this year. We encourage the parents' active participation in cub scouts as your son's Akela.

The pack has a website that we are in the process of getting updated. However, the GOOGLE calendar is updated regularly so check out the calendar.

We'll have a speaker, boys will receive neckerchiefs/slides for this year's rank and any awards since Akela's Council and we'll share a snack. Turn in registration forms, BSA health form, shot record, copy of health insurance card (if you haven't turned in at rally night or den meeting). Parents: Please bring a snack or dessert to share. No peanut products please.

Annual Clergy Appreciation Dinner - SC Comm Center - Wear Class A Uniform

A dinner to show appreciaton to the clergy of our parish. Noel Graham, Religious Coordinator will also discuss with the boys the Luminous Mysteries to earn a rosary patch. We'll have cajun jamabayla with parents bringing pot luck items to make a cajun meal. No peanut products please.

Pack 673 winning the Bishop's Trophy would make Father John very happy. :) Conducted by the Galveston-Houston Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting, Puff-Up is a day long set of activities for Tiger Cubs and Cub Scouts and their families to promote a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith.

Since this is the first time we (SHAC) have done this, we have no idea how many Scouters will attend, or how many will take the course in each language. Reservations must be received by Wednesday September 7th, so we can finalize the supplies and the staff.

Scout Fair - Location to be announced

A favorite place to earn beltloops and other electives. It's like a big scout science fair and scouts walk around doing stuff. (It's my favorite SHAC event to attend.)
